Maya's Marvelous Magics

Seriously...Maya BLOWS my mind at what it can do! I can't wait for the Ball project in class today, but I got a little something of my own as well~

I've made a few little things here and there: a rubber band, a balloon, and an ice cream cone to name a few.

I worked reeeeaal hard on it too~

But for this week's creation, I wanted to make some sort of character...and what easier start then to do Pac-Man! I mean, he's already a sphere anyway.

What could possibly go wrong?

Well...when I morphed the sphere, it wouldn't make the right angle to get the mouth for it, making it look more cartoony and puffy...

So I decided a change in direction. I'll just make it a funny face with some glasses! Big goofy looking ones! But when I tried to move my two rings with the rectangular prism as the bridge, it only moved a face instead of the entire object...and rotating it all was a bit difficult at first but I adapted.

But as I was manipulating the would be glasses...I had a marvelous idea!

Maya Mouse! *clap clap* Maya Mouse! *clap clap*

I mean, it already had a cartoony smile, and I could use some spheres for the ears too! All in all, it looks pretty good I think~
